What is a Credit Rating?

Credit Rating

The Credit Reports available on ReportsDirect include a credit rating calculated by Graydon and is included in their comprehensive credit reports.
A credit rating is an indicator of the overall credit-worthiness and can be applied to businesses and individuals.
This is achieved by assessing all available information about the entity – in the case of business; how long they have been trading, their activities, their financial information and more to derive an appraisal of the business.
The rating will be an overall evaluation of the business based on the probability of the business encountering financial distress in the next 12 months.
The credit rating available on ReportsDirect credit reports are a combination of a risk rating (what is the risk associated with this business – is it likely they will become insolvent within 12 months?) along with the company’s financial strength.
